Typekit

Last year my taste for type grew quite considerably, I developed a new appreciation of serif type and the elegance that it can bring to a design.

During the middle of last year a typeface was released that quickly rose to the top of my favourites list. It’s one of the few typefaces I’ve actually set aside money to buy, normally I spend ages wishing I could afford them, and thankfully it hasn’t sunk down my list from over use. It’s an excellent text face that I find a pleasure to read both in print and on-screen.

Well, thanks to the wonders of modern browsers I’ve been able to use that font here at PBcom. It’s been in place for those of you who have it installed, but from today should work in the latest versions of Safari and Firefox, along with Internet Explorer back to version 6. Thanks to the wonders of Typekit, all the copy is now set in Jos Buivenga’s excellent Calluna.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
